A standard 6 speed automatic transmission with overdrive is included in the features of the car. This is a brand new model of the Land Rover series which features energy saving capabilities. The vehicle is equipped with the usual 5.0 liter, V8, 375 horsepower engine which attains 12 mpg while driving in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. 2. The 2009 Land Rover LR2 is a compact crossover luxury sport utility vehicle which only has one trim, the HSE. It consists of 4 doors and 5 passenger seating capacity. The model is a carryover from the 2008 model. Currently, the model is being sold in North America. It is also known as the Land Rover Freelander 2 in Europe. 3. The 2009 Land Rover LR3 is a mid size sport utility vehicle with off road capabilities. Currently, this is the third generation of the vehicle that was first launched in 1989. In other parts of America aside from the North, this vehicle is known as the Discovery 3. The model is available in only one trim called the Base. The vehicle can seat up to 7 passengers. This is a carryover model from the 2008 variety. 4. The 2009 Land Rover Range Rover consists of a four door, 5 seating capacity and is available in two varieties, the HSE and the Supercharged. The Range Rover is a carryover of the previous year’s model. This latest generation of Range Rover has been designated with the name ‘L322.’ The luxury sport utility vehicle was originally introduced in 1970 and to this date, there has been three major generations produced. 5. The 2009 Range Rover Sport is a luxury SUV which is available in two varieties, the Supercharged and the HSE. It has a capacity of 5 passengers and is a carryover from the 2008 model. The model has been manufactured by Land Rover since 2005. The Range Rover Sport, just like the Range Rover, is only available in automatic transmission. This model, however, is being marketed as a sports tourer and was created with an intention to be the company’s most driver focused car as described by its subtle rear spoiler as well as its tail lights which have been designed for aerodynamic efficiency.
